I bought this car in a rough section of Cleveland. It was stuck in the back of a shop where they were building low riders with huge sound systems.
The goggomobile is perhaps the most sophisticated micro car I have owned: Independent suspension on all four wheels; Two stroke power with oil injection and an electromatic gear shift. (Note the joy stick in the middle of the dash.) It helps to think 'snowmobile' when working on the two-stroke engine. The lower four inches of the body was missing on this car. I painted the car "prowler red" which is close to the original color.
I bought a sewing machine at a garage sale and have been working on the interior- the seat covers may be my greatest challenge!
